As a child growing up in Africa, most natives used African print fabrics called Ankaras for their clothing.
These fabrics are a staple of African Culture with their vibrant colors and beautiful patterns.
Ankaras have come a long way since my childhood. They are now used for accessories like Tote Bags, Handbags, Scarves, Headwraps and so much more.
Our accessories are sure to be beautiful additions for the fashion conscious person who wants a piece of traditional African clothing, art and beauty.

L'ewa offers Free Standard shipping on all orders over $50. This applies to U.S orders only. Priority Shipping and Expedited Delivery is excluded from the $50 threshold. If you choose the Expedited Delivery option at checkout you will be charged the rate for that regardless of if the order exceeds $50.
Orders less than $50 have flat rates as indicated below:
- Standard Shipping (4-7 business days)- $7.95
- Priority Shipping (2-3 business days)- $9.95
- Expedited Delivery (Next Business Day)-$50
Your order will be processed on the same day if the order is received by 12 noon (Mon-Fri) EST (US) Saturday is not a Business Delivery day.
Please note that weather and observed holidays can cause delays with Shipping & Delivery. Orders placed the day before a Federal Holiday will not be fulfilled till the next business day after the holiday.

For International orders, delays may occur due to customs. All custom duties, taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. Please contact your local post office for further information concerning custom duties or fees.
*Please track your package through your local post office website, You will be able to use the tracking number provided to you through email to check the status of your order. Once your package leaves the country we are unable to track it for you.
Please note that orders cannot be changed or altered after it has been fulfilled. Most orders are fulfilled within 24-48 hrs (Mon-Fri) after the order has been placed, except there is a weather issue and if there is a Federal Holiday.

Items returned due to damage during shipment must be returned with the tags attached to it for refunds and/or exchanges within 21 days of purchase. No returns or exchanges will be honored 21 days after purchase.
If an item is being returned for other reasons, the tag should be attached to it and it must be in good condition - meaning no tears, scratches, breaks or stains. Once again, no returns or exchanges will be honored 21 days after purchase. Customers will be responsible for shipping and handling charges to return the item. Once we receive and inspect the item, if it is in good condition, we will refund the cost of shipping in addition to the cost of the item plus the sales tax.
If the package does not reach us safely, we will not be able to complete the refund. So we advice customers get tracking numbers on the returns so that proof of delivery can be verified.
If we get notification or tracking indicates that a package has been delivered but the customer has not received the items, they should contact us. Once the package is in the hands of the Carrier, they (the Carrier) become liable for the safe delivery of the items. Once we are informed, we will contact the Carrier and will open up a case with them. We ask for a 2 to 3 week time frame to investigate the matter and arrive at a resolution. If the customer still does not receive the order within the 2 to 3 weeks of investigating, we will provide you with a replacement of the the item if it is still in stock. If it is out of stock, a comparable item will be sent.
If comparable items are out of stock, we will then issue a refund.
For credit card payments, please allow 5-10 business days for payment to reflect back into the account.
For PayPal payments, please allow 2-5 business days for payment to reflect back into the account.
